Fuel pump not pumping but its a little wierd? ?

ok i just rebuilt the motor in my 86 firebid 2.8 5 speed. i go to start it the first time after rebuild, doesn't fire. check everything and find no fuel to be the problem, so go to the back listen for the pump- nothing, so i pull it,test and replace. (the pump was fine a month and a half ago) try again nothing but i get voltage when i turn the key to crank but nothin when just on. i tested the pump with a extra bat and jug of gas - works. can you help ??

I am debating on whether to bring my gamecube to college this fall. I am only bringing two games (Super smash bros melee and mario kart double dash) if I do. This has got to be one of the saddest stories ive read. There was a time when me and my mother were on bad terms for a long time. She would never call me. Unless she heard something about me or had something to b*tch about. WINTER TORNADOS: What did we see?

That's pretty hard to imagine in January, but not impossible. I've never seen a water spout since I live in Oklahoma, but I've seen lots of videos. Tornadoes can do strange things, like hover in the same spot for several minutes. Rope tornadoes and water spouts tend to be pretty weak, again I find it hard to imagine one in January sustaining for an hour. Didn't happen to get a photo did ya?

Hair, and wardrobe problems?

I'm Asian American with medium skin with golden undertones, and dark brown eyes. Celebrities with similar coloring to mine would be JLo, and Adriana Lima except for her eye color. I look more Hispanic than Asian; its very hard to find hair color for me. My hair right now is dark brown (natural hair color). What do you do when you've got no hope left?

I hate my life. I'm at a job I hate, I'm broke, losing my friends, I have no one to rely on, no one to talk to, I feel that we americans are losing our rights by the day, i live in a place full of low-lifes and addicts that are just itching to break into my room and steal my stuff, and I am in despair. I need help with my dad?

My dad is 82 years old. He has chronic pain from arthritis and gout. He normally takes vicodin every 4 hours for pain as needed and at least every month has to start a medrol dose pack for 5 days. the steroids always get rid of the pain almost immeditaly the first day. He is allergic to all the gout medicine out there. it is severe. He started taking oxycontin 30 mg Er a few days ago. He was on 20 in the past and told his doctor it did not work so it has been months since he has had any oxycontin and they uped the dose to this 30. Yesterday my husband called me at work and said that he had called him and felt like he was dying and fell in the shower. I left work got home the same time as my husband. He was slumped in the chair. pale. pupils pin point and taking his blood pressure . vitals signs were all normal. denied any pain just his head was wozzy, couldnt see right. everything fuzzy. and falling asleep even standing. All night long he has been pacing yet coherent but not knowing why he is doing what he is doing. wandering without purpose. cant remember why he is doing what he is doing. he doents when he takes the oxycontin 30 so I compared what was in the bottle to what is doented. He is missing 6 pills not doented. plus with oxycocdone we think he has been getting them mixed up and took to many oxycontin. his md just said to keep close eye on him and take him to er if he gets worse. We were home about 1410 so it is now 520am and he is still fuzzy and pupil pinpoint. I dont know how long oxycontin takes to wear out of the system and am wondering if he might have had a mini stroke. trying to get him to go to the er and he wont budge at this moment. doctors office will not open for 3-4 hours. He is stubborn. I am very worried .

I am 16, gay, and formerly in the closet. I had a personal response essay about heteroism in the media as an English ignment. Today, we were in the computer lab working on it. The "don't leave your bench rule if you are a player" rule is not fair because it was designed to stop violence from happening on the court. There are only 10 guys on the court, and about 5 or 6 players on each bench plus about 10 coaches and trainers etc. Why don't thay also make a dumb rule that if an altercation happens, all the players on the court should return to their benches, and anybody who doesn't will miss the next game? Why, because it doesn't make any sense just like the "don't leave your bench" rule. The rule I just made up, and the "bench" rule would be for the same purpose: to stop or limit on court violence. Horry should be gone for the rest of the series, in my opinion. Also David Stern should make a rule that actually makes sense like "any altercation that takes place during a game should be handled by the officials. Anybody, including coaches, players who were in the game at the time, and players on the bench, ANYBODY who comes in the way of distracting or preventing an official from clearing up the altercation should be suspended." That is how the rule should be stated next season. Isn't it the officials' job to keep law and order during any game of any sport? It is not the job of the coaches or istants to keep order, thier job is to COACH. In Major League Baseball, if a guy gets beaned, sometimes the dugouts and bullpens empty, literally (even the bat boys), onto the field, but NOBODY touches an umpire or they will be out the game within the next two seconds. You can argue with him all you want, but don't touch the man. In the NBA, if the intent of these guidelines and rules are to keep players away from an altercation, then the officials are the ones who should be protected by them, not the wood flooring on the court, because that's all this rule is doing, keeping the floor clean while the 10 guys involved in the game at the moment all converge to the scene and STILL outnumber, outsize, and overpower the officials. Protect the refs not the wood floor, D-Stern.

How long Will my Shingles Last for?

I'm 14 years old and i have shingles all over my left thigh and starting to spread down my left leg. I mean it's very rare for children to have this, but i do and the pain is very unbearable and i'm basically limping with pain on that leg. How long would it take for the red dots to go away, and more importantly the pain? I first got shingles probably on Saturday, 1/23/10. the pain started about Monday, 1/25/10. I saw a doctor and he prescribed me medicine, but he said the medicine wouldn't work as effectively since i saw him a little late. He said narcotics would be an option to get rid of the pain.

What size water pump do i need?

I have built my own spray rig to water some stock and tanks and a garden. It is a 330 gallon tank and has a spout at the bottom that i am going to connect a multi purpose pump to. My question is what size pump would i need? I have been looking at Atwoods and Tractor Supply and have seen some 2.1 GPM and a 5 GPM pumps i just don't know which would best suit me. i am planning on having the tank on the trailor and running water hose to a sprinkler or two. I would like to know how man sprinklers are possible on this type of system and still keep good pressure. Thanks for any answers.

I just bought a tree pruner intending to use it to trim water lily stems in my backyard pond, which has lots of plants and fish in it. What graphing calculator should i get?

I've never used or owned any graphing calculator before. i will be taking College Algebra this semester, probably followed by Calculus. i don't mind paying more for a better calculator if it will be allowed on the test. what I'm interested in is the TI-Nspire and the TI-Nspire CAS. i don't even know what CAS is, but if i need it I'll get it. I notice that the Nspires are between 140 and 160$, which isn't much higher then the other TI models. does that mean that it is not as good in some respect? Also, should i consider some of the HP or Casio calculators? once again, price isn't so much the issue, i just don't want to have to buy another calculator next year. thanx in advance. oh, and my college algebra course requires a TI-83 or higher.

If your really good at statistics and number crunching and you really enjoy doing it and its helpful, that's fine, but more than likely what will happen is after a week you will step on a scale and possibly even have gained 1 pound and your going to have this horrible feeling of "all that work for nothing" and you'll give up. I would recommend just saying no to things more, like no to a piece of pie or no to a candy bar you were thinking about buying. Then don't weigh yourself for at least eight weeks, and if you are really commited to cutting things out of your diet, you should see a really satisfying result after 8 weeks and I mean 10, 12 or even 15 pounds is great!

Your MAF or M Air Flow Sensor is the culprit. Same thing happend to my Sentra. I took it to the shop and they cleaned the throttle body. That lasted a week then the car started to stall again. It was the MAF in the end.

Thinking about the navy but have some reservations?

I'm thinking about joining the navy, but I'm at a crossroad. I currently own a house in Reno, NV (nearest base is in Fallon (about 2 hours away) and odds are I wouldn't get that detail) and I have a wife and almost 2 year old son. I want to join because I've heard the benefits for my family would be awesome and they would be financially taken care of, but I also don't want to miss out on my only son growing up. They wouldn't be moving with me on or near the base for multiple reasons; getting a reliable renter is very difficult, my wife already has a career here, our family and roots are here, etc. Now that I've explained my situation I'd like to know, especially from those with similar situations, is it worth the sacrifice? I know that's more of a personal decision, but what I mean is would I be able to come out of it with a better career? I plan on living in Reno after serving so things like nuclear power and deep sea diving are out as there is no market for that around here. I'm into design, both graphic and architectural, but is there much demand for that in the Navy or are those the type of jobs everyone takes? Would the reserves even be a good option for me as I would like to be near my family? Any advice or personal experiences would be great.

Follicle Ultrasound. What is enough and what is too much?

This is my 2nd IUI. First one we just used OPKs did the IUI the next day after a positive. I felt that was too much of shot in the dark. im not sure what kind of pickups i want to upgrade to, i have an american made fender strat 3 single coil pickups. i play lots of blues and some rock. I would look to a county that's cheaper to live in. The closer you are to the city the higher the cost. You may need to drive a bit farther to work but it will still be cheaper. As for school you didn't mention if you were actually going to school or doing a on line school. If your going to school then check to see if the course your taking can be done on line. They have teachers that you can contact if you need to and you get the same education. My daughter is doing the same thing. Even when she was in high school she had trouble with one of her cles so she went on line and took the cl on line and she did great. The school even gave her the credit hours she needed for the cl even though she didn't take it at her high school. Good luck.

Gl clippings for vegetable garden safe for compost?

I have been mulching with gr clippings for years and haven't had a problem. If my garden needs more mulch I let my gr bet a little long before cutting so I can use the clippings. Newspaper is safe to use as mulch or compost. Its cellulose wood fiber and will add organic matter when it breaks down. I prefer to mulch with straw or gr because water will p through. It tends to run off from newspaper.

It doesn't even have to be senior citizen, but something related. And also something that could be done in teams of 4 competing against each other. For instance, I have badminton and bocce ball, because both could be 2 teams competing against each other and have 4 players on each team. I'm skeptical about volleyball because it doesn't match the theme. Croquet, I'm not sure but can it be 4 on 4? Shuffle board, I'm not sure not sure again because it requires a certain court and I don't know how many players per team. Well I am almost 16 and never had a boyfriend because my parents can be really strict about that sort of thing. They never really trust me with anything even though I have never given them a reason not to trust me and not to sound full of myself or anything but I think I am the most well behaved of all the people my age I know. Medical term for sensation of bugs lightly crawling on you, semi allergy type reaction, non psychiatric.?

Used Tramadol for pain earlier today, no reaction, but, took 150 later in the evening and got the above sensation, took Benadryl 100. I'm a nurse and I know what prutitis is, but I can't think of the word for this sensation, itchy in my hair, abd, back, legs. slight nausea, It's not the word allergy or adverse reaction. I read the first book in the Outlander series and plowed through it. I loveed it. I couldn't put it down. The second book was okay but I suffered through cause I just wanted to find out what happened to Jamie and Claire's realationship. cause we all knew that they would have to get back together. So now I'm on the third book and I just can't seem to read it. I keep putting it down. I don't know if it is because Jamie and Claire are older. Why do people think that Jesus was establishing the *Catholic* Church?

You're right, there's not really a way we can know what kind of a Church Jesus had in mind, though. I believe that if you live a life of full pursuit toward Christ, it doesn't matter what church you worship him in. Many churches (christian and otherwise) contradict the Bible. In the Koran it says that Jesus was a Muslim, and Moses, etc. It depends what kind of doctrine you follow to know what kind of Church that Jesus originally intended it to be. I'm a Protestant, but I still say it's not only Catholics and just because they break that one law doesn't mean they are not Christians, since many, many other "Christian churches" disobey the Bible as much as the Catholic Church. I'm not Catholic simply because I think Protestantism represents Jesus and the lifestyle that comes from knowing him better. That's definitely not to say Catholics aren't Christian; like your Bible verse says, it's the same God.
