Video games in college?

I am debating on whether to bring my gamecube to college this fall. I am only bringing two games (Super smash bros melee and mario kart double dash) if I do. I don't play THAT often, but I thought it would be okay to play these games on my down time. It's a good stress reliever for me... at least I could kill charatcers rather than annoying people or professors I don't get along with lol But jokes aside, will there be some time? I heard college kids play video games all the time, and that it's a good way to make friends with people in your dorm building. Did you ever have good times playing games with your friends?
