Is it too bad if I stop the whole potty training thing and go back to diapers?

I started 2 months ago, she is now almost 2 years and 4 months, sometimes she does very well and have no accidents and sometimes she has lots and lots, but still asks for her big girl pants. I ask her where she should go for wee and pooh and she says toilet, but sometimes (now most of the time) she does not go. I started because she asked to use the loo. What should I do now
