Why did the delegates meet to make the Constitution? 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER!!?

They met to improve the articles of confederation. The problem was not that congress had to o much power but that they had too little and the states had too much power. Common people had nothing to do with it. They never, never, never wanted a king. (Though George Washington was often called His Excellency.)
